On Wednesday evenings we offer adult small groups @7pm.  These are great opportunities to grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and at the same time connect with others in the church.
Please look over these classes and select the one you would like to attend.  These are free for all participants as the church provides the materials.  Also feel free to bring any family and friends that may be ministered to by these studies.  Children’s class and “The EDGE” youth ministry will be held at the same time, so something is offered for the whole family!
In Outlive Your Life Bible Study, Max Lucado encourages you to change the world around you by getting off your knees, rolling up your sleeves, and performing works God has created you to do. His inspiring call will prompt you to spread God’s love as you learn more about ministering to your neighbors.

Topics include:
1. Our Once-in-History Opportunity
2. Let God Unshell You
3. Don’t Forget the Bread
4. Stand Up for the Have-Nots
5. Blast a Few Walls
6. Pray First. Pray Most.

Rick Kattau is the facilitator of this group.

“Brave: Honest Questions Women Ask” by Angela Thomas is based on her trade book “Do You Know Who I Am? and other Brave Questions Women Ask.” This Bible study for women looks at the heart of what women are thinking and feeling.

Session topics will include:
I am worn out.
I am suffering with a thorn.
I am undisciplined.
I am trembling inside.
I am invisible.
I am broken.

Amy Thorne, our Pastor’s wife, is the facilitator for this.

Explore The Bible

Currently studying the book of Romans, “Explore the Bible” is an in-depth study of God’s Word that will help you have a better understanding of the Bible. Historical and practical teaching will help you apply the scriptures to your everyday life. Each quarter this class alternates between Old and New Testament books and will ultimately cover all 66 books of the Bible. This group is facilitated by Lou Stephenson.

During January and February we are having a small group especially for parents, grandparents and other care givers of those who are in KidZone Ministries. During this class those in attendance will attend with the kids and will learn what the KidZone Ministry is all about as well as participate in games and other activities to build a bond with the kids. The class will meet int the fellowship hall and is led by Jenny Stephenson.

First Steps

“First Steps” is the church information class of River’s Edge Fellowship.  Here you will learn about knowing Christ and growing as a Christian, as well as learning how our own local church functions and operates.  We also cover spiritual gifts as well as how as Christians we should be reproducing ourselves. This class is led by Phil Thorne.
