Acts 1:8 teaches us that we are to be more than only focused on our home area.  At REFC, we take this seriously.  We are actively involved in missions both at home and abroad.  We want to see the Kingdom of God expanded by reaching peoples of all nations with the salvation message of Jesus Christ.

Each year we participate in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana State Missions Offering.  We combine all three of these into one huge offering we take up on Palm Sunday.  We then divide this amount between these three Southern Baptist missions groups.

We also have budgeted missions giving.  At REFC, we have chosen to contribute 14% of our undesignated gifts to missions.  This is given on a monthly basis.  8% goes to the Cooperative program for missions of the Southern Baptist Convention, 2% to the White River Association and another 4% is given to designated local mission endeavors.
